Chevrolet chose the Beat over ‘Groove’ and ‘Trax’ after consumers clearly voted Beat as the winner. Chevrolet had released the concept models of the three cars and asked consumers to vote on the website for the car they would prefer the most.

In the international market the car would sell as Spark, but since India already has a Spark again from Chevrolet, the concept car name Beat will be retained. The design, features all are being kept in closed closets hence not much is known of the actual car. But there are guesses and that’s what our hungry hearts are thriving on as of now.

The first guess – the car will be produced completely in India. That will keep the costs on the ground. Good for Chevrolet. With Nano hitting the roads this season, most manufacturers will have to redo the costs for small cars.
